Restrictions on when a short trade may be executed. According to these restrictions, one can only make a short trade after an up-tick, when the price of the stock is higher than the previous quoted price. One may also make a short trade after a zero-plus tick, when the previous stock quote is equals the current quote and the quote before that is greater than the current quote.
