This plan provides for a system of repetitive investments. Using such a plan, one can have a set amount of money electronically transferred from one account to another at specified intervals. Examples of such plans are stock and mutual fund reinvestment programs, defined contribution plans, mutual fund contribution programs, and automatic withdrawal plans. This is sometimes referred to as an automatic investment plan.
