quarterly report

A document recording significant events, changes, and financial results that the SEC requires of all US public companies every three months.

This is an unaudited document, and is also known as Form 10-Q. It includes financial statements consisting of the balance sheet, income statement, and a statement of changes in financial position, supplemented with footnotes. These statements include a list of "material events" that have occurred within the company, such as a stock split or acquisition. Also typically included is a narrative overview of business operations in the form of a discussion from the management.
